The government creates favorable conditions for entrepreneurs in the north of the country: An industrial park will be active in Glodeni

July 2, 2025, Chisinau – An industrial park will be activated in Glodeni, where entrepreneurs will be able to conduct their business in a favorable environment, make investments and create new jobs for people in the region. The government has approved a decision regarding the granting of industrial park status to the municipal enterprise "Multifunctional Industrial Platform of Glodeni".

"It is a very important project both for Glodeni and for the region. We hope that this will be an example for other urban and rural areas to develop. The state will continue to support small and medium-sized entrepreneurs, those who create well-paid jobs," said Prime Minister Dorin Recean.

The industrial park is located in the city of Glodeni and has an area of about 10 hectares. Within it, economic agents will benefit from an organizational, administrative and fiscal environment favorable to production and industrial activities. Residents will have free access to the land and will have access to water, sewage, gas, electricity and communications infrastructure.

The project is part of the Growth Plan for Moldova, supported by the European Union, and represents one of the four industrial platforms planned by the Government to boost the regional economy.

In the Republic of Moldova, other ten industrial parks which had, at the end of last year, 135 resident economic agents. During the period 2013-2024, the number of employees in industrial parks registered a significant increase: from 285 people in 2013, to 4383 people in 2024. The total volume of investments in industrial parks exceeded 4.2 billion lei.
