What salaries does the world's most valuable company offer? Some positions exceed $470,000 a year and are not management positions

The spectacular rise in Nvidia shares has made stock packages an important component of employee compensation, and the chipmaker also offers very high salaries to attract the best specialists.
While Nvidia doesn't publish all of its employee salaries, federal filings filed in the U.S. for hiring foreign workers provide a snapshot of the pay levels for key positions. This data reflects only base pay, and doesn't include stock options, bonuses or other benefits that can significantly boost total earnings.
Software engineers and artificial intelligence researchers can earn up to $391,000 and $356,500 a year in base salary alone, respectively. Managers and executives also enjoy very high pay, according to federal data on employees recruited through the H-1B program.
Product managers can earn up to $379,500 annually, hardware engineering managers up to $368,000, and directors up to $488,750. Some of the most important technical positions, such as principal systems software engineers or AI algorithm experts, can exceed $400,000 per year in base salary alone.

Nvidia, the most valuable company in the world
US chipmaker Nvidia overtook Apple last year to become the world's most valuable company, with a market capitalization of more than $4.5 trillion, evidence of investors' growing appetite for stocks related to artificial intelligence (AI), according to a study published Wednesday by consulting firm EY.
The market capitalization of Apple, the manufacturer of iPhones, was around 4,000 billion dollars, according to EY data, notes Agerpres.
Nvidia's valuation is nearly twice the combined value of all 40 companies in the Frankfurt Stock Exchange's DAX 40 index, which stood at $2.5 trillion at the end of last year.
US tech giants dominate the global ranking, with Alphabet (Google's parent company) in third place, with a market capitalization of almost $3.8 trillion, ahead of Microsoft and Amazon.
