VP CEREALE operates across the entire agricultural chain:

  • Grain trading (core activity)

  • Animal feed production

  • Livestock breeding and fattening in own farms

  • Port and logistics services in the Brăila Free Zone, supporting export operations

This integrated structure significantly reduces operational risks and improves margins.


3. Grain Trading – Core Business

The company manages the entire commercial cycle:

  • sourcing and procurement

  • transportation

  • storage

  • domestic and international sales

Annual traded volume:

  • approximately 150,000 tons of grains, depending on season and market conditions

  • scalable to double volumes with additional investment

Strong commercial network:

  • local farmers

  • independent storage operators

  • international traders

  • logistics partners

This ecosystem ensures a predictable, continuous, and efficient flow of commodities.


4. Product Portfolio

A diversified range of grains and agricultural raw materials, sourced from Romania, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, and Kazakhstan:

  • wheat, corn, barley, sunflower seeds, triticale, sorghum, peas, rapeseed, soybeans, sunflower meal / soybean meal


5. Storage Capacity & Logistics Infrastructure

 

  • Four owned storage facilities

  • Total capacity: 83,000 tons

  • Strategic location: Buzău County, South-East Romania

6. Owned Transport Fleet

VP CEREALE operates a modern in-house transport fleet, ensuring:

7. Livestock Farming Operations

Cattle Fattening Farm – Vișina, Dâmbovița County

  • licensed capacity: 3,500 heads per cycle

  • currently under-utilized (significant growth potential)

Pig Fattening Farm – Stâlpu, Buzău County

  • licensed capacity: 22,000 heads per cycle

  • 3 cycles per year

  • current stocking level: 11,000 heads per cycle


8. Animal Feed Production

Investment Contribution & Business Development Project

Investor Contribution

The proposed investor contribution is EUR 10,000,000, allocated as equity within a 50% – 50% partnership structure with VP CEREALE.

This capital injection will be used for structured modernization, capacity expansion, and operational optimization, ensuring sustainable growth over the medium and long term.

Financial Projections & Returns

Based on conservative assumptions and current operational capacities:

  • Minimum projected annual net profit:
    EUR 8,000,000

  • Maximum projected annual net profit (at full utilization of existing capacities):
    up to EUR 20,000,000

Planned investments will:

  • expand regional logistics and agricultural infrastructure

With the end of the conflict in Ukraine, the Port of Brăila is expected to become a key regional hub for:
